Last November 30, 2007, I wrote about how I felt about Senator Bong Revilla’s entry to the MMFF – Resiklo. At that time, I just watched the trailer and I was really surprised at how good the visual effects were! Definitely a huge leap from the effects that we’ve seen in previous years. In turns out that those CG effects combined with the environment-friendly themed paved the way for Resiklo to win Best Picture at the MMFF. List of official MMFF winners after the jump.

It’s a miracle that Pacman’s movie still got an award. He must feel really bad seeing as “Anak ng Kumander” didn’t do too well.

Congratulations to all the MMFF winners! Hopefully they change the script writter for Resiklo’s sequel. The first movie was really good in terms of effects but I still maintain that the script and over-all plot could have been infinitely better.
