Presidential hopeful Mar Roxas is reportedly considering Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero as his running mate in the 2010 Presidential Elections. Apparently this is the main reason why Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is having issues with Mar as the standard bearer for the Liberal Party. He’d prefer that Mar runs with someone from the Liberal Party and not with someone from the outside.
The question is… who? Is Senator Pangilinan setting himself up for a possible VP run in 2010? He’ll be a strong contender, especially with his wife, Sharon Cuneta, endorsing him. Other than Pangilinan, there’s also Senator Noynoy Aquino. Personally I think that it’s too early for either Chiz, Kiko, and Aquino to run for VP. They should prove themselves first by being good senators. There’s still so much to do with regards to legislation so they really can’t afford to spend too much time campaigning for the 2010 elections.
If they climb up the ladder too fast, they might slip and fall flat on their back.

But it seems the FRANCIS of NPC is winning against the FRANCIS of LP for the VP slot.

I think BF-Duterte will be the best tandem. They have balls.
