Yesterday, the political landscape of the Philippines was thrown into turmoil when Cong. Nograles and his allies finally made the move to oust Speaker Joe De Venecia. I’m under the impression that this shocked JDV, especially when Nograles got more than enough votes for him to win the position. Imagine this – JDV met with GMA several times and probably got assured that the administration would still support him… then BOOM! Double cross. Wapak. Karma. Honestly, I have no love for JDV. But you really have to admire how he was able to hold on to his position and build the administration coalition to what it is today. Malacanang definitely lost a very good ally and time will tell if JDV will really join the opposition and wage war against the Arroyo family. Here’s a video I found on Youtube that has an excerpt of JDV’s speech. Here, he talks about the Pork Barrel and the corruption of the Arroyo family.

They’re all the same. If they’re double crossing each and every one, if they’re losing their positions they were assured to keep, if they’re finally talking about the corruption of the family they certainly protected and took cover for the past years, it IS their fault. In the first place, if they didn’t agree to any corruption, cheats and what have you, they wouldn’t have kept it that long and wouldn’t have spent all those years beside those people smiling, waving and friggin’ saying they’re good people and suddenly say otherwise just because they suddenly lost their positions that gave them their glory.
Hence why I hate the politics in the Philippines.
hmm y dont you like JDV?hmmm ano po ba nagawa nyang di kaatimatim…(topak mode) lalim tagalog…. lalim aking pananalita….
sabi nga sa inquirer, mali yung ginawa ni JDV na nag rant siya dun haha. Dapat ginawa nya yung ginawa ng mga Arroyo. “Don’t get mad, get even” Haha! Ayun tanggal siya sa pwesto!
