It looks like the Estrada family will continue to leave a mark in Philippine politics as the former president recently announced that both his sons might be included in the senatorial opposition slate in 2010. Jinggoy Estrada is up for re-election while San Juan Mayor JV Ejercito has been waiting for this opportunity to finally break into the national scene. If Erap decides to run for President, then we will see three Estradas in control of our nation’s future. Scary thought eh? Here are the other possible candidates:
Former Sen. Sergio Osmeña III was on top of the list, he said, followed by opposition spokesperson Adel Tamano, Bukidnon Rep. Teofisto Guingona III, Iloilo Rep. Rolex Suplico, broadcaster and former Leyte Rep. Ted Failon and Parañaque Rep. Roilo Golez.

I’m not really excited with the list except for Senator Sergio Osmena III. He was always one of my biggest idols in the senate. I hope that if he does run in 2010, he will be able to bag a seat. As for the other candidates, most of them are hardcore oppositionists like Suplico, Golez, Tamano, and Guingona.
I wonder what the administration slate will look like.

Ted Failon running for senate under opposition banner? kaya pala laging negative na lang commentary nya at ni korina against the current administration especially to Bayani Fernando.
I wonder, kailan kaya nila titirahin si VP Noli de Castro?
Lakas already released their senatoriables weeks ago.
Di na nila kailangan tirahin si VP kasi si Loren wala naman ibang ginawa kungdi siraan si Noli, hehehe.
