Marvel is cashing in on the massive success of Iron Man. Their next film, “The Incredible Hulk”, stars Edward Norton as the big green machine. You’d think that they’d really focus on one character but Marvel really pulled out all stops in marketing by revealing that Tony Stark is in the Incredible Hulk movie! You want proof? Here’s the latest trailer released for TV spots in the US.
Will we see Iron Man versus Hulk? Only time will tell. Can’t wait to watch! Woohoo!

It’s all part of Marvel’s drive to maximize the use of their licenses. This is the first time that Marvel Studios is producing their own movies, and they’re building up to a grand Avengers movie come 2011. “Seeding” cameos of previous heroes in successive movies is one of their steps in maintaining non-comic readers’ awareness that all these characters exist in the same universe. You can bet that if ever any of the extant licenses (Spider-Man, X-Men, Daredevil, etc) are abandoned by their respective studios, Marvel will also be quick to pounce on the opportunity to take control of their heroes again.
As it is, look forward to more cameo appearances when they finally make that Thor and Captain America movie in the future.

this new Incredible Hulk is a lot more fun than the first one with Eric Bana; Ed Norton does his usual specialty — the “split personality” role…
