I know this is a weird and rather sensitive topic but I want to bring it up because I know for a fact that people here in the country are really apathetic about sexually transmitted diseases. In an article released on Inquirer.Net, a study showed that 1 out of 4 adults in New York have Herpes Type 2. That’s really alarming since Herpes is a very serious disease – you get blisters and tender ulcers in your private parts. That’s really gross and uncomfortable don’t you think?
I don’t have the numbers for the Philippines but I’m pretty sure that the number of people infected with STD’s here are also skyrocketing.
Anyway, the next time you’re in New York and you’re looking for companionship, don’t forget to wear rubber. There’s a 25% chance you’ll end up going home with Herpes and you’ll just pass it on to your girlfriend/wife.
