Former Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III was appointed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the chairman of the Dangerous Drugs Board. A lot of people are saying that this is political payback since Sotto was a candidate for Team Unity in the previous elections. However, I honestly believe that unlike other appointees of the President, he deserves the position he’s getting. Tito Sotto has always been an anti-drug advocate and he even played a crucial role in the passing of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Congratulations to Former Senator Sotto for his latest appointment! I hope he does a good job in the years to come.
However, what’s alarming is the possibility that the President might appoint all the losing candidates of Team Unity to key positions in government.

Ermita said it was possible that more losing administration senatorial candidates could be appointed to government.
“Hindi sila malilimutan ng ating Pangulo [The President won’t forget them],” Ermita said, adding that President Arroyo helped pick the Team Unity candidates and from that time, has known the capacity of each and whether they would be fit in any government post.
Let’s all just pray that when the Preisdent appoints people to her staff, it’s not just because of political payback like what happened with Mark Lapid.

nakaka dis appoint ang proposal niya na tanggalin ang mandatory drug test sa mga drivers…malala na ang prob sa droga kaya dapat pag-ibayuhin ang batas dito..magsasaya lang ang mga drivers na lulong sa illegal na droga..sana huwag niya ituloy..dapat lang siguro pag aralan ang mga loopholes at bigyan ng solusyon. salamat po

hangang appointee lang ang ata ang mangyayari. Sayang naman po ang
perang gastos ng mamayan. Mr. Tito Sotto baka naman me bagong proposal ka about drug prevention. Itinalaga ka ng Presidente
para gampanan mo ang iyong katungkulan. madalas akong manood ng EB
at madalas din kitang makita sa show. yung EB most of the time
will last for 2.5 hours at meron pang rehersal will last for 6 Hours. Mr. Sotto baka ang mangyari ang parang noon ding nasa senado ka. Ilang taon kang nanungkulan pero katulad ka din ng mga artistang nag hintay lang ng Pork barrel.
Siguro mas maganda MAG-Patawa ka na lang….
