It looks like we’re sooooo out of budget that our Police Force will resort to using golf carts as their patrol cars. While I agree that we should all conserve gas, this is just insane. The new electronic car that the PNP will deploy really looks like a golf cart that was just painted black and white together with the PNP logo. The only thing missing is the caddy and the golf bag at the back. Here’s the picture taken from Inquirer.net:
Don’t get me wrong – I’m all for energy saving. But I just can’t help but say that this is just too weird.

Not to mention that its finally starting to feel like the rainy season. What are the police going to do? Match their golf buggy with rain overcoats.

Well, at least hindi na nila ginagamit yung carts para sa kanilang golf games… Sana. Heh!

Dual purpose… that can bring the carts for their golf games after work
Okay din yung cart as patrol vehicle. The police are seen easily, and they can also just as easily get off the “cart” to apprehend people. Besides, if it’s electric, the power may last longer for a small vehicle like that one than if it was a sedan.
And it also puts better use to the carts than just shuttling people about in a golf course.
