Senator Mar Roxas launched his official blog last Friday during a blogger meet up at Annabel’s restaurant in Tomas Morato. This is actually one of the projects that we’ve been working on lately and it’s really good to finally see it materialize. First, let me clarify a few things – Senator Roxas will not be the only person writing and posting. He’ll try to post once a week and we will have several contributing writers provide other content to make sure that the blog is constantly updated.
Right now there are 4-5 posts in Mar’s blog. The welcome post was actually done by him while the others were posted by members of his staff. Susan “Toots” Ople used to be his Chief-of-Staff and Communications Director. Kael is one of his writers and is actually assigned to shadow him during sorties and events.
If you visit the blog now, you’ll find one very interesting post there about how Senator Roxas uses the MRT quite often. Visit the blog to check out some of the pictures Kael took while his boss rode the crowded train, hehe.

yep Rocky, publicity stunt lang yan since may kasamang camera eh. ilang beses kaya niya ginamit ang MRT nang hindi nagtatawag ng media para ipangalandakan na “sasakay ako ng MRT”?
Politicians will be politicians. I’m more interested in what he plans for this country, if he’s really going to run for the big seat.

ang totoo, sumasakay talaga siya ng mrt– kaya nga may camera dahil kinontak ng gma7 ang office niya, because they found out that he does ride the mrt. admittedly not very often, but pretty regularly, given the traffic at edsa.
oh well. people will think what they want to think; i guess it’s only symptomatic of our jadedness when it comes to politicians. ninakaw na ng kasaysayan ang kakayahan nating maniwala, kahit sa ganitong maliliit na bagay.
dti days pa lang sumasakay na iyan sa MRT. cabsec na siya noon. kailan siya sumasakay na walang camera? parati. kapag may interview yan sa umaga sa anc or dzbb or dzmm – sumasakay siya ng MRT hanggang taft station para lang makaabot sa morning hearings sa Senate. alam ko kasi nagtrabaho ako sa kanya for quite some time. thanks.
