Mikey Arroyo: Cha-cha after 2010 Elections
Here’s something interesting. Pampanga Congressman Mikey Arroyo, son of PGMA, is all for Charter Change. However, he’s only for it if it will happen after the 2010 Presidential elections. According to him, there is really no intention or hidden agenda to extend the term of her mother. However, we’ve already seen broken promises before. Remember in 2004, PGMA said she would no longer run for the Presidency and yet she did? What’s to stop her from doing the same thing all over again today?
The young congressman likened Cha-cha to cooking Paella. Here’s the quote from Inquirer:
“It’s like cooking paella. It takes long to cook because it needs a lot of ingredients. So we can talk about how to cook it [and] we can already buy the ingredients,” he explained the process of Charter change.
“But it should only be served after 7 p.m. which is dinner time,” he said.
You know what? This is one of the rare times I’ve seen him make sense. Lol.
