A long overdue post

Last December I left TV5 as their Business Unit Head for Online Publishing. Working for a TV network was definitely one of the most fun, enjoyable, and educational experiences I’ve had in my professional career. I will forever look back at my stay at the Kapatid network with fondness especially when I think about all the friends I’ve made and how working there gave me a better perspective into the work of my wife (who happens to be a TV5 reporter).

At the start of this year I embarked on a new adventure as the Managing Partner & Director for Di9it (Digit), the creative digital agency of DM9 JaymeSyfu. Jumping over to agency side was initially daunting but I knew it would be the perfect way to round off my digital career. I’ve done product, brand, publishing, blogging, online freelancing, consultancy, and media. The last thing missing on the CV for digital was really agency work. Also the opportunity to work Merlee Jayme, Ronald Barreiro, Alex Syfu, and Eugene Demata, creative powerhouses and industry icons, made it even more appealing!

It’s only been six months since I made the jump and it truly has been one of the most challenging and fulfilling times of my life. I’ve learned so much from the team and I have no regrets whatsoever making the jump. Speaking of the team, one of the most exciting things about having a new job is forming and building new relationships. Recruiting and forming a team has always been a challenge but has always been a rewarding experience for me. 🙂

So far we have a pretty good team at Di9it. We still have a few slots open but for now I’m very happy with the guys we have. I’m definitely looking forward to growing with them in this new company! If ever we have more openings I’ll probably post it here.

New work. New Relationships. Exciting Times. 🙂

Thank you Lord for this new season and this blessing!
