There are times when we’re faced with difficult decisions at work. While most people consider this a “corporate” decision, it is actually also spiritual. God has sovereign rule over all aspects of our life and we just can’t box Him in church every Sunday.
Instead of trusting our gut, trust the Lord. Read His word, pray and seek for His wisdom and grace. Be patient, be still, be calm, and just let His presence wash over you so that it removes all worldly biases and trappings.
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land. – Psalm 37:7-9, NLT
We put our trust in You, Lord. You know us better than we know ourselves. We don’t need to understand the logic behind Your plan because we know and claim what You have in store for us is perfect and pleasing.
In You Lord, we are victorious.
