Hundreds of Eraserheads Final Set Concert videos are now uploaded on Youtube. This is really something interesting since the concert was just yesterday! In one of the videos, you could see a sea of cellphones being used to record the band as they sing “Magasin”. I’ve compiled some of the videos that I saw in this post. I watched the Ateneo-DLSU game at the Araneta Center with my sister Faith last week. Sadly we were really late (but at least the tickets were free) and we only reached like the last 4 minutes of the game. Sucks eh? Anyway, I just wanted to share with you guys a video that I got which really shows a sharp comparison on the Ateneo and DLSU crowds. Since Ateneo was winning, you’ll see here everyone in blue jumping up and down. As I pan the camera to the side, you’ll see the DLSU crowd really silent on their seats. Check it out - it’s only a 19 second vid so it won’t take long to stream.

The highly anticipated Eraserheads reunion concert was cut short in the middle after lead vocalist Ely Buendia collapsed backstage during a 15 minute intermission break. Apparently the stress was too much for Ely after he lost his mother recently and his rehearsal for the concert which last up to 3AM. I’m sure all the fans who came were a bit disappointed at what happened but I know that they’re all with me in wishing and praying for Ely’s speedy recovery. Hopefully we will still see another reunion concert for the Eraserheads in this lifetime.

Just like love - age doesn’t matter for call centers. LOL. One of e-Telecare’s star agents is actually a 57 Year old grandmother named Patricia Salvant. She lived in the US for 20 years and when she came back to the Philippines, she decided to go for a rather late career in the call center industry. Seriously though, watch the interview below and I’m sure you’ll understand why she’s good at what’s she’s doing. Her work philosophy is great and her English is just superb.

Singer, Actor, and Producer Francis Magalona confirmed that he’s ill with Leukemia a few days ago. It’s really sad things like this happen because it’s a brutal truth that will forever haunt human life - we are all prone to sickness regardless of our job, color, build, or education. The best we can do is to try to live life as much as we can and in the process try to lower the chances of getting sick. I would like to take this chance to offer a silent prayer to one of my favorite Pinoy rappers.

This really reminds me of 300. Well, not 100% entirely. There are no spears and chisled abs but at least they got the shield formation right. Here’s a video that I got from Inquirer.net showing Quezon City’s finest demonstrate defense postures in riot-situations. I look up to a lot of Filipino bands but the Eraserheads is definitely on top of the list. They’ve made so many songs that dominated the radio waves for years and it was really disappointing when they all broke up with so much controversy and hate. However - it looks like we will have 1 last chance to watch them live. Based on various blogs and news columns, the Eraserheads will be coming back for 1 more live concert! Grabe. Hehehe! You know what guys, I think this show will get much higher ratings in the Philippines than Pinoy Idol or Pinoy Dream Academy. Why? Britain’s Got Talent is not just about singing. As long as you have a good act, you can audition and eventually win the entire competition. Last year’s winner was a 13 year old kid who was a really good street dancer. He made a huge impression on the entire world when he did a fantastic semi-final performance dancing to a remixed version of “Singing in the Rain”. Here’s a video of his performance during the finals.
