“Techie” is infectious. Recently I fell in love with headphones and am slowly turning into an Audiophile. Bought Marshall Major Headphones and am now saving up for an AKG 701 (worth Php 28,000). After researching, experiencing, and learning about how headphones and audio systems work, the first beneficiary was my wife. I realized that her in-ear buds weren’t really that awesome and the sound quality was produced because it was just a generic China brand. We went to JBL Soundstage and bought an AKG K404 portable headphones.
If you’re heart is overflowing with passion for something, it shouldn’t be just for yourself. You should let if flow and bless others.
A few weeks ago the article “5 things you should know before dating a journalist” came out and became viral. This was written from the point of view of a journalist who wants to tell their would-be suitors what to expect if they started dating. This article got me thinking (since I’m married to a journalist myself) and I just want to contribute to the discussion. Here are somethings to keep in mind if you’re married to a journalist.
1. They work long hours.
Reporters are probably one of the most hardworking people in the world. They pick their stories, lead a team (cameraman and driver), go to various sources for interviews, writes their spiel for TV, delivers the news for TV, helps with the actual editing of the story, pushes stories to producers to air their stuff, and sometimes they even have to repurpose their stories for web and other shows. Last Friday TV5 held a trade launch for the News5 organization. It was the formal and official launch of the various news platforms of TV5. We have the first news station on FM, Radyo Singko (live stream on the TV5 Website). Our free TV news channel called AksyonTV 41 (which starts airing on Monday). We also have our news site which should be launching soon which is called InterAksyon. Btw, the person heading our online news is Roby Alampay. Really cool dude so expect a lot of unique and great content from InterAksyon. Anyway, here are some photos that we took during the event:
